Trauma Services Summary

River Oaks Hospital participates in the Mississippi Trauma Care System as a Level IV designated trauma center providing access to trauma care 24 hours per day, 365 days per year to all patients without exception.

River Oaks Hospital provides the following services as part of the Trauma System:

Surgical Services with General Surgeons on call 24 hours daily
Orthopedic
OB/GYN
Neurosurgery Services
ICU
PACU
Radiology Department with CT scanner capabilities

Any trauma patient received at River Oaks Hospital with evaluated and treated by the Trauma Team or resuscitated, stabilized and transferred to a higher level of Trauma Care Center for continued care.

River Oaks Hospital is a 110 bed acute care facility. The following services are available for nursing care based upon patient need, diagnosis, specialized treatment and intensity of services:

Emergency Department
Medical/Surgical Services with appropriate physicians on staff
Intensive Care Unit
Neonatal Intensive Care Unit
Dialysis Unit
Labor and Delivery Unit
Orthopedic Services
Radiology Department with CT/Interventional Radiologist
